Free Uptown Historical Walking Tours from Queen City Culture Vultures — extended to August 20: Queen City Culture Vultures, an arts meetup group in Charlotte, is celebrating their third birthday by offering free guided historical walking tours. Uptown Funk — the Story of Charlotte, is a one-hour and one-mile loop of Center City Charlotte, highlighting Charlotte’s history, sports, arts and culture. The tours start outside the Bechtler Museum and end at the Uptown museums.
